Mane ‘n Tail products were originally formulated for horses, ergo the name, or well, I assume. Equestrians started using the products themselves and so up came a range of the stuff for humans! Now they’re an absolute ESSENTIAL for my hair care and today I wanted to tell you about my favourite product; the Mane ‘n Tail Detangler!
I have been using Mane ‘n Tail for a few years now and this detangler is a MUST HAVE product for me. I use it liberally, but a bottle seems to last me absolutely ages. The photographs are rubbish, I know – sorry! But I photographed my current bashed and loved bottle.
- Exclusive pH balanced formula that is easy to use and helps eliminate tangles and knots and the appearance of dry split ends
- Hair becomes easily manageable with rich, luxurious shine
- Formulated with natural herbal extracts to help nourish, strengthen and fortify; helps prevent hair loss due to breakage
- Safe and gentle for all hair types
Available in a 12 oz/355ml spray bottle.
After I have washed my hair and it is still damp, I spray this stuff liberally, all over my hair, especially the mid to ends and then brush it through using my Tangle Teezer (which is also a must have product for me, just fyi!). Sometimes I just let it dry, other times I blow dry it on low, but whenever I do this, I always have soft, smooth and silky hair vs this fuzzy thing that’s loaded with fly-aways when I’m too lazy to do more than just shampoo my hair. Sometimes I spray it on to my tangle teezer and then brush it through my hair if I just let it dry naturally, was lazy and end up fly-aways.
My hair is much easier to brush – this stuff is like MAGIC for me and I’ve seen a massive reduction in the appearance and development of split ends since using it. I feel like everyone with a pony-tail (geddit!? ha! I’m so witty) should have this stuff. I’m so pleased that Mane ‘n Tail products are more accessible and easier to purchase now!
Have you tried any of their products? Do they work for you? or are they a bit much? I have dry, fine and frizzy hair but this stuff is meant to be great for all hair types!
If you’re an equestrian, do you use Mane ‘n Tail on your horses?!
